Kayleigh's MA collections explore how traditional methods of stitch and modern technology can be combined to create innovative designs for the fashion market. Each collection demonstrates a different aesthetic and approach to the inspirations of Parisian architecture and light movement at night combined exploring movement and creating layers of detail. She has also explored passive smart textile applications in her designs working with thermochromic inks and UV reactive materials to demonstrate how they can be used in a commercial context. Additionally she has created her own 3D printed embellishments to use in the designs with some containing a phosphorescent pigment making them glow in the dark.
